Hello, thanks for the tip, i wanted to ask you, does this use a specific utility like a Ralink or Realtek one or just the built-in in the Mac?

Flash post:

You can get a 9$ "USB 2.0 802.11n 150Mbps Wifi/WLAN Wireless Network Adapter" here: http://dx.com/p/ultra-mini-nano-usb-2-0-802-11n-150mbps-wifi-wlan-wireless-network-adapter-48166

this works like a charm on a ML system, you only need the right driver from here: http://www.edimax.us/download/drivers/MAC/RTL8192CU_MacOS10.7.zip

;)

Wow- this looks to be a Realtek device that connects natively as Airport- not using a 3rd party app!

Nice find! And $8.50!

Hello Tony, i am having a problem with this website.

Just tested this unit.

I was wrong about it being picked up as Airport- this is a 3rd party Wireless Airport Utility type thing, recently updated 10/26/12. It then picks up as USB Ethernet in Network prefs after connecting via utility. Not a bad little unit- if you don't mind a 3rd party utility. Clearly not as good as the PCIe cards that pick up natively as airport.

Oh well- was worth a try. :geek:

Thank you, I can't get my wifi card to work, and lenovo is a big F*G by using those damned whitelists.

So I ended up buying this for $7 free shipping. Only bad thing is it's shipping from China, which will take around 15-20 days

Hey guys i just bought the EDUP EP-N8508 and i went and downloaded the drivers you posted.

The install fails everytime and after i restart it does not pick up the wifi chip?

Any suggestions?

Im running ML
