Hello,

I've got a HP Notebook model EliteBook 850 G1 and I've replaced the mini pci express card with this one bought on ebay:

AW-CE123H 802.11AC Minipci-express 867Mbps HP Part# 724935-001

http://www.ebay.it/itm/191465800645?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I've installed Yosemite following the HP Laptops with Clover UEFI guide and I get with that card only native wifi working (5ghz works) but not Bluetooth. Have tried installing tolida kext enabler bcm4352.kext and bcm4352bt.kext without modification but no success.

From lspci -nn -v i get:

02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation Unknown device [14e4:43b1] (rev 03)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Unknown device [103c:2154]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 19
Memory at d0600000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable)
Memory at d0400000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable)
Capabilities: [48] Power Management version 3
Capabilities: [58] Message Signalled Interrupts: Mask- 64bit+ Queue=0/0 Enable+
Capabilities: [68] Vendor Specific Information <?>
Capabilities: [ac] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
Capabilities: [100] #14e4

For wifi Airdrop cannot see my iPhone. Any suggestions? thx

It is an option in the ProBook Installer...

Thanks very much for replying. I've already tried that both with the latest probook installer and manually installing the latest version, but no sign of bluetooth. Attached the output of DPCIManager. Do I've to modify the id vend and prod in the Brcmpatchram?

I've found this in the logs:

Bluetooth is USB... nothing to do with WiFi on PCIe. PCI List won't help with finding USB device-ids.

Great thanks again, so even if the bt chip/function is on the pci express card AW-CE123H, we must look at the usb bus. Please find attached a copy of my IOReg. Let me know.

I don't see a bluetooth device on the USB bus. Your card may be defective, or you have it disabled in BIOS. Verify in Windows.

OK I don't see any option in bios to enable/disable bt, and I don't have windows right now to check. The card is a combo so bt is there, I'm going to install windows this evening because I suspect that the bt module is probably disabled by some sort of option or button on the keyboard and I'll try in windows and let you know, thanks for now.

Most HP laptops have an option in BIOS.

Hello,

also not found on windows, and as you suggested resetting the bios to default resolved the problem (but I really have gone through all the setting and didn't find an option to enable/disable bt at least none named bt). I can confirm that this model of pci card works native on yosemite without extra drivers. I've attached my ioreg in case of needs. Thanks a lot for your help.

Not true. The "extra drivers" (and patches) are provided by the ProBook Installer.
