UA Apollo Quad Thunderbolt Mackintosh build though ideas

Hello all,
I am new here so please play nice.

Since I have went to the thunderbolt 1 card on my had interface I am on a new mission for a desktop. I sold off my old mac pro and I have been dealing with my MacBook Pro since but I would like to go back to a desk top.

I have built computers in the past and modded my mac pro to a good working machine 8 core new video card etc. so I know enough to get in trouble

What is the best options for a solid, fast hackintosh that is not uber pricey. I am fine with using thunderbolt 1 mob's since I am limited with my older ua thunderbolt card. I am also fine bring used parts of eBay etc..

Any advice from other UA Apollo people out there ?

Look for BoomR posts, I remember a thread already created on this topic, and he posted a succes story.
