Mavericks + 8.1 with Chimera

I have Mavericks and 8.1 on different hard drives, Both are set up on AHCI mode. Will they be fine dual booted? Running Chimera 3.1 (or is it 3.0.1). I'm assuming i just set the Chimera drive as first boot priority and it handles everything else. Whenever i've tried it with Chameleon on older installs it has ****ed up my MBR.
