Hi,
I would like to dual boot Yosemite & Linux in UEFI mode
Currently the only way to do it is to enter the BIOS and select the HD for Yosemite to boot.
Then I get to Chimera (no linux option there).
I looked at the installation disk of Yosemite and found 3 partitions
1) the EFI system partition, which is empty
2) the actual big partition for the OS
3) a recovery partition
The entry in the BIOS boot order (efibootmgr) is
Boot0001* Hard Drive BBS(HD,,0x0)
which I think means that it boots in BIOS mode (i.e. MBR), not EFI
When I try to chainload the MBR from GRUB (EFI mode) with
set root=(hd0)
chainloader +1
I get: Invalid EFI path
Is it possible? Boot Yosemite from GRUB-UEFI?
