OK, I have my system up and running. Dual booting from Mac and Windows 7. However, in order to switch, I have to always go in and change the boot setting in bios.

I used the unibeast/multibeast method, and all that shows up on the boot is OSX, However, if I go in to see more options, I end up seeing windows, but it does not go to the boot loader.

So I am needing a guide that will help me walk through this and fix this issue. Can anyone point me to such an item?

Thanks

See sticky guide at top of this forum. Mavericks/Yosemite works same - Win7/Win8 works same.

I guess I am missing it. All I have found in the sticky are installation instructions for the OS's. I have them both installed as I said, but I don't see how to make the windows boot sector a part of the choices after everything is installed.

What BIOS settings are you changing?
Are you hitting a key (I usually use the down arrow key) during the Chimera timeout to see the Windows icons or have you installed Instant Menu?

Post pic of OS X Terminal command diskutil list.

So here are some photos of what I am seeing/doing. I apologize, if there is a way to screen shot at these points, I do not know how to do it.

So when I boot normally, this is the screen I get after quickly hitting any key when Macintosh starts to load.

If I select Macintosh, the Mac opens, no issues. But, if I select Windows NTFS, this is the screen I get.

So to Switch OS's here is what I have to do in the BIOS. From this screen I hit enter...

Which opens up this window. When I select my SSD which is on P1: it switches to load my Mac. To get Windows to load, I have to select Windows Boot Manager.

Your last line of "OS X Terminal command diskutil list" I know what the OSX Terminal is, but the rest of what your asking is foreign to me.

And your problem is that you failed to disconnect the OS X SSD before installing and the Windows installer put its boot files on your OS X SSD. It is right there in the pic - if P1 is the OS X SSD and you have to select P1-Windows boot loader, then P1 contains the Windows boot files.

Suggest you re-install and make sure that ONLY the target drive for the OS is connected when you install.

OK, so I have 2 partitions on my SSD one with windows and one with OSX. So which do I reinstall?

Both OS X and Win7 are on same SSD?
Disconnect all drives except the SSD, boot and hit a key at the Chimera timeout screen.
Post pic of icons.
I am thinking the System Reserved partition may not be showing on the screen due to the number of other icons.
Another way to check is to hit the right/left arrow keys at the selection screen to cycle to the next page of icons.
