Hi Guys,

So recently, I've been trying to get my Lenovo y570 laptop to run Mac OS X Mountain Lion. I installed with Unibeast which worked perfectly and have it running OK except for Audio and Wifi. However, I have an BCM4321MC in the mail to swap out the card in this laptop (already patched the whitelist in the bios). But I was hoping that I would get better support and battery life / speedstepping by using a patched DSDT for my board.

I had never even heard of a DSDT until installing OS X and have no idea where to start. I pulled the DSDT from Windows which is located at the link below as a dsl file (due to file size not permitted by the forum)

Thanks in advance!

Hey, I also have a y570 and I need some help with the DSDT. Would the one that you built for the other one work for me?

I can give you any info you need, just let me know.

Thanks in advance!

The .zip is the saved .DSL.

If you need anymore info, I will get it to you as soon as possible.

Make sure you install correct kext. If you install voodoo backup AppleHDA to some other place.

If you have issue with audio refer to this link > http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=355

For SD card use this forum search there are good threads to fix these issues.

Thank you very much! Im extremely new to osx, and this entire hackintosh process.

Hey, I tried to use the file in multibeast, but I ran into a kernel panic. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do? I reinstalled osx, so Im using a clean install.

Boot your laptop and when you see tonymac icon hit any key to interrupt the booting.
Type -v and hit enter again to restart the booting process. You will see a bunch of kext scrolling up when it stops take a photo and attach it here.

Below the text in the pic, it runs "still waiting for root devices"

Since my last post, I have tried running different things in multi beast. If you need me to start fresh and run just the dsdt you gave me I can do that.

If you see this before I update again, I found a fix that might help me with the problem I have, with the "still waiting for root devices".

Im going to fix that, run the DSDT that you gave me and take a pic of what happens.

Thanks for helping me, I really do appreciate it.

What options did you check in Multibeast?

Disconnect any USB device if you have connected and try booting.

If the above Doesn't work try booting with -v -f.
