To actually get it to work - for Chimera - you're gonna have to inject the device properties that tonymac has on his forum here - http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/61216-10-8-how-enable-hd4000.html.

What you need is to make sure you have a USB stick with Chameleon on it - a version that can boot Mountain Lion.

Make sure you have the new Chimera on your hard drive.

Now with the link above - you will have to use the device properties - and add it to your org.chameleon.boot.plist file. It's trial and error to find out which one works best.

For my Dell Inspiron 13z - I found that this one works the best - and actually showed me 512mb of graphic memory for an Intel HD 4000 -

This gave me full QE/CI finally after a few weeks. But if it doesn't work - you're screen will either go black during boot up or stuck at the spinning Apple logo screen.

That's why you need a separate USB stick with a different version of Chameleon - so you can go back in and try a different set of device properties.

Hopefully this will help.

Have a good one.
