Hey, I'm trying to install ML on my Toshiba Satellite laptop.:problem:
It's my first experience with Hackintosh and a PC laptop.
I made my usb drive (HP v210w 16 go) with Unibeast and Mountain Lion (Guide from tonymacxx86) and set up the Bios (usb boot and HD AHCI).
But when I try to install the screen sticks with apple and the wheal spinning)
I tried -x and -v boot npci0x3000. (guides from french forums). The same result.
CPU Intel Core i3, 2.20 Ghz, Version BIOS 1.60
HDD Hitachi, Intel HD Graphics 3000.
Some more informations here:

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

You have a mixed system... Sandy Bridge on 7-series board. To reach the installer you must remove all the Intel HD kexts (AppleIntelSNB*, AppleIntelFrame*, AppleIntelHD*). Save a copy of them for restoration after installation.

Start here with Multibeast (power management): http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

Then after you install, you'll need to patch DSDT to activate HD3000: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply:
"HD3000 Low Resolution"
"HD3000 on 7-series"

To make brightness slider in SysPrefs->Displays work:
"Rename GFX0 to IGPU"
"Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
install: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Backlight

Thank you very much, RehabMan
I'll try it tomorrow.:)

Hi,
I downloaded Multibeast and first time I could install it on my USB drive with uUnibeast.
I tried to boot the USB drive after but it didn't work.
How can I remove apple hd kexts?
To boot with USB I tried to use -f boot. As it was told in "Power Management for Sandy bridge".It didn't work.
I had only a short flash and apple logo, then options of boot.
After that I remade my USB drive with Disc utility and reinstalled unibeast.
But now I can't install Multibeast.
I have every time install error.
How can I reach Multibeast on my Toshiba before install Unibeast?:banghead:

What USB drive?

How can I remove apple hd kexts?

Use ShowAllFiles to see the files. Then remove with Finder.

Power management is something you do after installing.

Please try to explain more carefully at what step in the process you are at.

Unibeast is used to create a USB. See here for an overview of the process: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

Hi, RehabMan
It works! Thank you!! Great!
However I have 2 problems: no ethernet on my new ML Toshiba
and no audio.
And after installing Multibeast I cannot reboot without USB Flash.
Is there any solution?

Ethernet: What Ethernet chipset do you have? Use DPCIManager->PCIList to find out.

Audio: Best result with patched AppleHDA. Google 'patch AppleHDA guide'. Search for suitable AppleHDA or patch it yourself. Apply appropriate DSDT patches.

Booting without USB requires installing a bootloader...

For power management and initial setup after a fresh install, see: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

I installes Chimera 2.2.1.
But I still need to load boot through Unibeast USB key
No audio, ethernet, neither wi-fi.
