I have a Intel i7 Ivy Bridge 3770K Processor and a ASUS Sabertooth Z77 motherboard.

I cannot update to OSX 10.8.2 because its having errors with this VT-d, It crashes and then just freezes when I restart the system. The apple screen goes faded, codes appear, and it tells me to power off the machine. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I disabled VT-d in my BIOS and I was able to boot into odd again. There's a file that you can replace from 10.8.1 that will let you keep it enabled but I can't remember what it is.

My motherboard does not support VT-d so therefore, Does not have the BIOS option to disable it.

Are you using a 7850 video card as stated? If so you may have a problem since the 7850 is not supported in OSX.

And are you trying to install OSX 10.8.2, or are you already running 10.8 and are attempting to update to 10.8.2?

The 7850 is my video card for my PC. I'm useing a 6870 for this one.Now please get back to the problem with VT-d.

change your profile hardware to match the system you are actually working on.
the same question gets asked in every thread you start, so itd make much more sense to have the hardware youre using with osx listed, rather than windows hardware.

take a photo of the kernel panic/where it hangs

Bump.

I noticed people have builds with this motherboard that allowed them to use it. I contacted oldvolks and he said he switched his motherboard awhile ago and he no longer has the file. If anyone else has it, please, please please please, Send it to me or post it here.

Bump.. I really need this fix. Someone please.

Bump again. Can someone please help me?

Try to have a simple installation of multibeast in that "upgrade 10.8.2" partition. It works in my case
