1. All brand new hardware and running good. I used UniBeast to create USB with Mountain Lion.

2. Bios is at version F6.

3. I followed these BIOS changes: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-desktop-guides/141955-success-gigabyte-z97x-gaming-3-i7-4790s-780-gtx.html

4. tried -x switch and short after few minutes install stops at:
AtherosE2200: Ethernet address

5. tried disabling onboard LAN controller stops at:
[IOBluetoothHCController][start] -- completed

I see the Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 running great for many folks, so not sure what my problem can be.

Any help would be great,

use nv_disable=1 boot-arg until you can install web drivers for the unsupported GPU

Thanks so much for that, that got me to the installer and I managed to install 10.8.5 to my SSD.

After the ML installer I got stuck getting back to finish the OSX install with this message: [IOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed so what I did was move AppleIntelHD* and AppleIntelF* into a subfolder and using boot flag nv_disable=1 boot-arg I was able to finish the install.

Now I am trying to get connected to my network and having issues. (The GA Z97x Gaming 3 has Killer 2200 network controller). I tried the ALXEthernet v1.0.2 from MultiBeast 5.5.5, but it didn't work. I also downloaded the AtherosE2200 kext from this page http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=305 and copied to system/library/extensions (also tried using KextBeast) but nothing seemed to work after restarts, etc..

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,
