operating system installed, but can only get in with cpus=1 bootflag. If I use -v bootflag, I'm able to log in but the computer is basically unusable on account of it's sluggishness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get the computer in our recording studio back up and running.

System:
Asrockx79 Extreme 4
Intel i7 3820 3.6GHz Quad Core
GeForce 210 1024MB Graphics

Please put your hardware in your profile.

What boot-args are you using? you need minimum of npci=0x2000

Thank you for the quick response.
Will update that now.

Here are the bootflags being used. cpus=1 seems to be the only one holding me back.

Try replacing npci=0x3000 with npci=0x2000
Have you installed voodooTSCsynch for your CPU number of cores in S/L/E?

Still nothing, and I'm afraid I don't understand your second question. Could you please simplify?
