Hello everybody,

I have an issue installing Mountain Lion.

My configurations are :
- Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H
- Intel I5 4570
- Samsung SSD 850 Evo
- Crucial Ballistix Tactical (16GB)

I've successfully made the usb key with unibeast.

But now, when i try to launch the installation, it gets stuck on the apple logo screen (with no loading-wheel). I also tried using different boot arguments but nothing's worked.

If anybody has the answer to my problem, I would deeply appreciate it.

Thank you !

I tried to boot with -v but at the end the screen goes black instantly so i can't take the screenshot ...

Mountain Lion does not run on Z97 - you need Mavericks or Yosemite for Haswell hardware. You might possibly get lucky and manage to install ML 10.8.5 if you have a discrete GPU that is supported - the iGPU in the Haswell Refresh CPUs is not supported in ML.

Thanks, i tried with mavericks and it works !

Now it seems that i can only boot with the boot loader -x, do you have any idea ?

(Sorry for the bad quality for the image ...)

Are you following the Mavericks installation guide and using the suggested boot flags? Have you run MultiBeast yet with proper selection of drivers for your hardware?

If you now have Mavericks installed, it is time to start a new thread in the Mavericks forum.

I reinstall everything, and now everything works ! Thanks :D
