surround 5.1 on ASUS CG5290 ML (Cant get it to work) HELP PLS

The last thing i have to get working is the surround sound. I tried the HDA + HDA enabler1 - 2 but nothing works. My device is 01 00 00 00 wich is Audio ID:1, but im at a loss !...:banghead:
Can anyone help please ?

Your motherboard and its audio codec please . Give correct and detailed description to get help from the forum.
 
ASUS CG5290, Rampage II Gene, audio codec is 01 00 00 00 00 (Audio ID:1 as per IOJones) cant findout if its ALC898 - 889 or else… I7 920 @2.67 ghz 12 gb ram 1 tb HDD GTX650.

I appreciate your help
 
Thanks for the link, but i tried the ''No DSDT'' method twice with same result. Do you think its cauz i have a No DSDT install surround doesnt work or its just me whos not doing it right and i should try a clean DSDT.aml install ??

I had no choice but to install VoodooHDA 2.8.2 & AppleHDA 2.3.7 cauz i couldnt find a combination with HDAEnabler that works… In IOJones i cant find HDEF as a result…

TYhe hardware said itys: 01 00 00 00 00 but im totally lost…,.. In Voodoo i can only select: Line out (Green). sorround doesnt show either in voodoo or in sound panel. I see input (pink) and Line out (Green), 4x Digital HDMI(which i only have 1 HDMI out), SPDIF out and Headphones (Front Green)…..:banghead::banghead:
