I keep getting error, " imessage cannot sign in error, please try again " message after updating from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5. I am using Mac Pro 3.1 as definition. Please help, thank you.

Same here. I tried the Chameleon Wizard method. Also downloaded FileNVRAM.dylib and placed it in the modules folder within the Extra's folder. Also deleted the FileNVRAM.plist. Also installed the latest version of Chimera 2.2.0.

Still I keep getting the same iMessage error. Anyone?

Try xzenue's FileNVRAM solution version 1.1.2 from here http://public.xzenue.com/downloads/

I was able to sign into iMessage and FaceTime on 10.8.5 using Chimera 2.2 with v1.1.2 but not 1.1.3. Good luck! We're trying to nail down a more stable solution, but this is the best we've got for now.

Put FileNVRAM.dyib in /Extra/modules and reboot.

If there is no modules folder in Extra then create one.
Copy the FileNVRAM.plist file into the Extra/modules folder and then restart

I have a British keyboard and I guess it's the layout for that.

Cool thanks for the info..

edit....it seems that as soon as you make the modules folder...it puts your default keylayout there....ok...

apple releases ml10.8.5 and problems with hackintosh increased again ...
Apple has made changes to the protection of personal data on all of its devices ...
If you are using iMessage or face time from hackintosh, the server detects a fault and apple iMessage is offline again ...

I tested all the new and old fixes for access to iMessage ... nothing ...
the problem lies not in the type of connection you use and is not even in our hackintosh ...

hackintosh is losing points ...

the serial number of our hackintosh is no more accepted by their servers ... for now we are out of their services ...

they ask you to call the customers to solve the problems of access but of course none of us will call '...

I have always believed in hackintosh, I hope in a new fix that solves the problems related to the apple server and id of our homemade mac, although I see it very hard ...

PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS GREAT PROJECT TO DIE ...
