Totally new to Hackintosh. Getting Kernal Panic or Grey Screen Beach ball.

Specs:

MB: ZOTAC H77-ITX WIFI A series
CPU: Quad core i5 3550 LGA1155 3.3GHZ
Memory: 8GB DDR3
SSD: OCZ AGILITY 3
Graphics Card: MSI R6670 (although using integrated graphics at the moment, to avoid issues)

Followed guide to install ML via unibeast. (which went fine)

Got to the setup and opened Multibeast.

**Foolishly** checked more than one box.

I checked the following boxes:

Now when I restart I get the option (through what I assume is Chimera) to pick Mountain lion on the left (SSD) and unibeast on the right (USB Drive)
If I choose ML i get a Kernal Panic and if I choose unibeast I get grey screen with beachball.

I've had read around, but can't seem to find the answer. I've started up in verbose mode and attached the output below.

I am a complete noob when it comes to hackintosh so hopefully someone here can help me with what steps I need to take next.

Really appreciate any help.

For MultiBeast, you NEED FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement.

UniBeast injects them for you. Boot off your UniBeast, boot into your drive with -x, run MultiBeast and install them

Also, thank you for making large versions of the pictures. Pain in the booty to have to squint.

Why would u say to use NullCPU thats got to be the worse thing you can use on a 7 Series board. Do you not realise that will disable all power management?

Either patch your bios or used the Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext from multibeast, Not NullCPU.

Firsty, Thank you so much for the speedy replies! It helped a little but as you'll see below I'm still a long way away.

That stopped the kernel panic, but now I can't get past the spinning grey apple boot screen, unless I use safe (-x) mode.
I am able to boot into the drive "fishsticks" in safe mode and run multibeast.

I added JUST the kexts mentioned (FAKE SMC and The Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement)

Restart and i get the following scenarios ( i made a video to show the explanation, sorry it's 5 mins long. I just wanted to make sure that you could see all the BIOS settings to see if they are correct.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUxZc7bD0PU

The video is basically
each page of the BIOS and the associated settings
Booting into the hard drive called "fishsticks" (no safe mode)
Booting into USB STICK (no safe mode) stuck on spinning forever
Booting into "fishsticks" in safe mode

I have just done, the multibeast "easy beast" config to test after the above and nothing, same spinning grey.

I tried creating a patched DSDT using the following instructions:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/100188-zotac-dsdt-patch-repository-maciasl.html
However, the Program itself would not compile the code into a DSDT. If someone could please try the instructions and send me and attach the file so that I could try that would be amazing.

I feel like i'm a little stuck and would really appreciate some help or at least maybe some steps to make it easier to troubleshoot.

Thanks again,
Leo

I am still living in the 6 series... heh. Sorry.

The settings you will need for OS X are:

- SATA MODE: AHCI
- High Precision Event Timer (HPET) into 64 bit mode

Is your BIOS UEFI? If it is, you don't need a DSDT.

Does the system shutdown entirely or does it stop sending video signal, when it gets past the loading screen? This will likely reveal the cause
Also, try booting with -v GraphicsEnabler=no
