Hi Guys,

I am new here, I just started my first Hackintosh Build today.

I followed this guide step by step, until when trying to boot from UNIBEAST Flash-drive, Instead I get stuck at the Apple Logo and a spinning loading wheel.

My system is:
BitFenix Prodigy Case
GA Z77N Wifi motherboard
I5 3570K processor
Corsair XMS3 8gb Ram
Samsung 840 Pro 128gb SSD

(I have GTX 660 Graphics card outside of case and a Western Digital 1TB also outside of case)

I am using HDMI from motherboard to screen

I have waited a long time and tried -x, GraphicsEnabler=Yes / No

What could be wrong? The Guide with the exact same hardware seems to suggest I shouldn't be having any problems. Please help me!!!

Which USB port are you using. Make sure you are using a 2.0 port and not a 3.0

I am using a USB 2.0, I did hook up the 3.0 on the side panel of my case to the motherboard, but my flashdrive is in the 2.0 slot.

Also I took out the wifi chip that doesnt seem to be compatible, That didn't help.

Type in -v and take a picture where it hangs. Try and make it clear picture so we can see the text.

This is it, something about dubious ownership on file ... Thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

This was posted on another page, he used similar moboard..

"I fixed my issue by Using the strings
-v -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes npci=0x2000 to boot

What does that mean^^? Do I insert all of that into the first screen with the USB after I load into UNIBEAST usb drive?

I type it all in as one line because that doesn't seem to work..

Ok have a go with these settings, boot to BIOS and make sure the first init display is iGPU and the iGPU memory is set to 64Mb. Make sure all the other OS X settings are correct i.e ACHI is enabled also HPET is enabled. . If you have this option in your BIOS disable Vt-d (virtualization technology for directed I/0) and exit, continue to boot with UniBeast installer.

Report back with the results.

I dont have iGPU
Under Init Display first i have (Auto/IGFX/PEG)

I chose IGFX instead of Auto,
I disabled Intel Virtualization Technology
HPET was already disabled,

I tried again to boot with -x flag and SUCCESS!!!
I got to the installer and now I have to figure out multibeast and how to get my Graphics card to work!

Thanks for your help, I will keep you updated

No problem. Remember that if you are going to install your 660 you will need GraphicsEnabler=No but I would suggest that you get your system how you want it then install the 660. If you need any help with MultiBeast then let me know.

I ran MultiBeast like this guy did,

http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...3770k-ga-z77n-wifi-16gb-ram-gtx-660ti-21.html

I did exactly what he did, now I am getting kernal panics that look like this:

I am still able to boot into safe mode, Our builds are slightly different, I took out my wifi card from the mo-board but I havn't yet installed the compatible Atheros one which is currently being shipped to me from ebay. I am using ethernet cable for internet.

Also, he enabled Virtualization, i couldnt get to the installer until I disabled it.

What do I do?
