Finally I got my System up and running 10.8.2 I post a symple guide that maybe someone finds it useful.

My System:
Gigabyte X79 UD3
Corei7 3820
16Gb Ram
HD6870 Sapphire Radeon 1Gb

1- Create a unibeast installation media (Note: if you have an HD6870 graphics card, remove the kext Ati6000Controller.kext from System/Library/Extensions in order to reach the installation screen).
2- Boot using this flags: -v PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000
3- Installa Mountain Lion
4- Boot into your new ML system with this: -v PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000

POST INSTALLATION

1- Run Multibeast whith this options:

EasyBeast Installation
Drivers/Network/Intel - hnak´s AppleIntelE1000e v2.1.7 (fix for the AppStore)
Boot Options:
PCI Configuration Fix

2- Reboot
3- Next. Unzip the file attached to this thread and copy all the files to your desktop.
4- Move DSDT file from desktop to "Main Hard Drive"/Extra
5- Run KextBeast for installing the drivers. Note: Ati6000controler.kext only for AMD6000 graphics cards.
6- Reboot

Now you may have a full Hackintosh computer.

What is working:

Audio
Ethernet
HD6870 Recognized as is (Fix for Adobe After Effects, if not recognized try changing in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist GraphicsEnbler to yes or no and PCIRootUID to 1 or 0. My system´s configuration is: GraphisEnabler=Yes | PCIRootUID=0)
HotSwap in Marvell ports only

USB3: didn´t try it. Appears as High Speed USB3 ports and also as SuperSpeed USB3

What is not working:

OLD: Sleep etc as X79 motherboards are not supported yet.
NOTE!!: Thanks to morganb now I can confirm that sleep works if you install SleepEnabler.kext through KextBeast. Thank you Morganb!

Good installation.
I did 1 week ago the same installation without success on audio...:banghead:.
All worked perfectly but not the audio devices.

Now I'm starting from scratch following your step by step guide.
I'll keep you informed.
Thx a lot for the attachment. I hope it will work also on my system (same as your, but witg GTX 470 instead ATI).
ciao from italy.
Pulpinex

I'm glad it worked for you pulpinex!! Now enjoy it!

I found it was significantly less hassle on this board to go DSDT free and get a class compliant audio device. Its working perfectly and really easy to install plus with the added bonus of easy BIOS updates. turbo and overclocking work fine - my 3930K is either at 1.2 or 4.5 GHz

WND4800 for network. Iogear Bluetooth.

Sleep via SleepEnabler.kext, even wakes from bluetooth.

Boot up on this board is slow unless you disable legacy USB devices.

I swapped out the 6850 for a GTX680 4GB in the end which was only slightly difficult.

Once Id got the bootflags right this was the easiest hack I have ever made.

Hi! Morganb. I didn´t know how to enable sleep in my rig. Thank you!! It´s working fine and wakes in no time!!

This is my first hackintosh build and thanks to all the info on this site have got quite far - nearly there I hope.

I have a GA-X79-UD3 F11 Bios, Xeon CPU, Gigabyte NVidia GT-640 graphics card, IOGear BT, TPlink WiFi, 32GB RAM, 1TB HDD

I have managed (thanks to all the info on this site) got ML installed and working, here's where i've got to:

Install ML using unibeast with PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x3000
Boot into ML installation with PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x3000
Run Multibeast after install with following options:
Easybeast
PCI Configuration Fix
Intel - Hnak's fix
Results in me still having to input PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x3000 from Unibeast USB boot
If I change Kernel Flags in org.chameleon.boot.plist from "darkwake=0 npci=0x3000" to "PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000" system boots from Uniboot USB with no additional boot flags very quickly and works pefectly.

Downloaded the X79UD3PostInstall file and followed the instructions there but now have unbootable system.

So I'm at a point where if I can get a bootable ML build (no DSDT) installed with no audio.

Can anyone help with the audio?

Hi russellb-jones. Have you tried to put DSDT file provided in the postinstall to your Extra folder and install AppleHDA.kext with KextBeast? This may fix your problem with audio.

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply. Yep i've tried everything I can find. If I add the dsdt attached in this guide the system will not boot - not sure why. Booting -v system hangs at:

MAC Framework successfully initialised
using 16384 buffer headers and 10240 cluster IO buffer headers.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue. After installing the DSDT i cant boot ML cause it stucks at MAC Framework.

I will try to get around this by using no DSDT like in the first post and then maybe later if anyone figured it out here how to get that solved. If i can reach something i will inform you guys.
