Thank you for the Guide!

Thanks for the guide! Quick question... The link for the Asus Bluetooth Kext is broken... any chance you could post the kext file or a new link? I'm going to give this an attempt later on today.

One other question about video cards. I'm using a 580 GTX, is it really necessary to install the OpenCL patch and the 3,1 Nvidia driver? I thought the 580/5xx had natie support inside 10.8

Lastly, when boothing -v and others do you type the whole string command on the bootloader page after hitting the down arrow? What if you are using multiple ones.... ie -v and graphics enabler=y ?

Thanks for you time,

Spin

Hi Spincykle,

To answer your questions:

1) Try the new link here for the kext - it is in the attachment on the thread > http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/16474-enabling-bluetooth-p8p67-boards-bt-211-a.html

2) Yes it is important to install the OpenGL patch and the Nvidia driver, especially for the card concerned. They are designed/implemented differently on a Mac setup hence has to be updated.

3) Type in the whole command - it's the only way to get it working...

Just updated the guide to full installation methods for Intel HD cards and Nvidia cards...

Hi - great guide and very welcome as the 660 seems to be the cheapest entry level card with displayport for my Apple Cinema Display (ACD).

I am about to start my first hackintosh build and want to use my ACD. Will the ACD plugged into the displayport work during BIOS/multibeast initial installation before I have downloaded the nvidea drivers? I ask because its my only monitor therefore i cannot use HDMI and the native Hd4000 on the i5 during setup.

Thanks.

Hi,
Is your sleep/wake functions working?
thx

Hey, I have just successfully installed Yosemite on my Hackintosh by using Clover and I was wanting to use your Bluetooth Kext as I'm using almost the same Mainboard as you are. Can you please Upload that Kext again?
The links are not working.
