Network: Native Wireless and on-board Ethernet
Display: 46" Toshiba TV

DSDT: I used an edited version from the DSDT database to make HDMI audio work. Thanks to Toleda and HackMan.

Process:

(This is a clean-install guide)

0. Make sure you back everything up.
1. Create Unibeast stick according to Tony's directions.
2. BIOS: AHCI SATA interface, 64HPET, 480MB+2MB Graphics settings. Set first boot device to USB-HDD
3. Reboot. Boot the USB with the following boot flag: GraphicsEnabler=No
--- Note I could not get into the installer without GE=No.

4. Select language. Hit next. Go to Disk Utility on the menu and format the OS X partition you'll be booting from.
5. Back to the installer. Let it run. Reboot.
6. Select your boot partition. Again, boot in with flag: GraphicsEnabler=No
7. Run Mulitbeast with the following settings:



8. Reboot and hit delete to enter BIOS. Change first boot device back to "Hard Drive" and pull out your Flash Drive.
9. Boot into OS X. No need for Graphics Enabler this time.
10. Go Applications -> Utilities -> Audio MIDI Setup
11. Select HDMI and use the following settings:



12. Try logging into the App Store. If you can get in without a problem, you are done. Enjoy the Hack! I, however, had trouble logging into the App Store -- it said my device or computer could not be verified. I had never received that error before on the same build. The trick is to make sure your Ethernet is set to "en0" (even if you have Wireless), which you can do as follows...
13. Open finder. Click Go - Go to folder -> "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/":



14. Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist by dragging to the trash:



15. Restart.
16. Go to System Preferences -> Network. Remove all your network interfaces. Re-add them one by one.
17. Log in to the App Store and make sure everythign works.
18. Enjoy your Hackintosh!

And you have no issues going in and coming out of sleep? also, no cmos resets?

DSDT download worked for me. Maybe try right click -> save as -> DSDT.aml

I turned off sleep because this build uses a non-supported DVD-RW that causes CMOS resets. I was able to go in and out of sleep, but it did cause a CMOS reset. Take that for what you will. Sorry I can't be of more help!

What exactly is a CMOS reset? Do all the settings in the BIOS get reset?

I've heard a lot of people complaining about it.

I have the same motherboard and it works great (even sleep) but I'm using the UEFI BIOS.

Yes, all the BIOS settings get reset. For me when I get CMOS resets, the BIOS settings default back to normal, but I get an alert where I can select "use last known" and be off and running with my old settings.

How is the UEFI working for you? Did you upgrade from the legacy?

sleep doesnt work for me, using an ati 6870.

I went UEFI to get sleep to work. Works great so far

Unibeast 1.5 (Mountain Lion) and Multibeast 4.61 (says it's for Lion, but works fine.).

Care to share your experiences upgrading to UEFI? Maybe a project for next weekend if I can guarantee the HTPC doesn't break down. Otherwise the fiancee may get mad
