Has anyone successfully updated this build to Mountain Lion and if so can they put a step by step guide to what they did up?

Thanks,

At last! I installed Mountain Lion! But for me works only this one distributive: Mountain Lion 10.8 Final [Intel]

Motherboard: GA-H61N-USB3-B3-F8
Graphics: Sapphire HD5570 1GB

Still have problems for installing native DSDT for my motherboard from this site. After MultiBeast and DSDT I have always "Still waiting for root device". o_O Tried everything I can:

-x -v npci=0x2(3)000 PCIRootUID=0/1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No and still no positive results. Maybe someone can help to solve this problem?

Update:

Got it! You have to take the above mentioned distributive. There must be no problems in installation. After MultiBeast setup and you will have fully functioning system. There was only one issue in my situation with "Still waiting for root device".

And the problem was in one string in org.chameleon.Boot.plist!

On previous Lion system I have:

<key>Default Partition</key>
<string>hd (0,2)</string>

and also no

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

So. I added in Mountain Lion Boot.plist "Default Partition" and removed "GraphicsEnabler". After this everything work fine! I don't why at this time MultiBeast didn't add parameter Default Partition but for me it was the main issue to my mind. :)

Maybe for someone this information will be useful. At this moment I have both Mac OS X Mountain Lion and Windows 8 Release Preview. :)

What options did you guys use to get everything running? Im currently having alot of issues with sleep. Everything else is working fine.

Hello guys!

Mobo: GA-H61N-USB3-B3 (F8 Bios)

CPU: Intel i5 2500k

Graphics: Intel HD 3000

First of all, I've been experiencing some random crashes with my ML build. Well, just 2 crashes in the last 24 hours watching youtube videos.

Installation was very fast with no problems at all. I used the same method and config as Lion: Unibeast+Multibeast. Then I fixed the VGA connector (my monitor is old, I need VGA) with the help of this guide by Juanerson: Editing Custom connector info for Intel HD 3000 Graphics (sandy bridge, OSX Lion) - InsanelyMac Forum - Page 10

I boot without typing any flag, graphics enabler is activated.

I'm not and expert about Hackintosh and english is not my native language but i'll do my best trying to help.

Thanks to everyone for the responses.

Any idea what is causing the crashes and if anyone else has upgraded this build are you having crashes as well?

Thanks,

MacNewGuy

I don't know…

I installed on my GA-H61N-USB3-B3 with F8 BIOS also...
My USB3 ports arn't working... Any ideas? I've tried the 10.8 DP3 kexts, as well as the regular multibeast 4.6.1 kexts...

H61n-usb3 uses fresco usb3 controller not yet supported under multibeast or natively! :( did you get hd3000 gpu working ok? My multibeast kernel panics at any thing waiting for better guide!

Hrm, the usb3 ports were working in 10.7.4... Dunno if I was getting USB3 speeds, but they at least worked.

Yes my HD3000 works perfectly. The multibeast ones don't work. I used the beta889 AppleHDA.kext from the 'lion hdmi audio' thread. It works perfectly for me. Installed with kextbeast.

Also, on that note... my H67N-USB3 actually uses the NEC controller... So that one should have no issues in ML?

Did you upgrade your H67N-USB3 to ML and if so did you have any problems?
