This does work, but there is one problem. When restarting OS X, the icon will revert to the original. I have to delete something (put something in the trash) in order to get the Mac Pro icon to reappear.

To rename 'System Reserved' in Chimera, enter the following lines in org.chameleon.boot.plist. <key>Rename Partition</key> <string>"oldName" newName</string> Hope this works for you.

Is it possible to hide or relocate or resize the text labels for each OS in the Chimera menu? Can this be achieved by editing the 'theme.plist'? If so, how to go about it? The label sizes have gotten bigger in the latest Chimera and conflict with my custom icons. I'd rather not shrink the icons any further. Thank you.

Now that GraphicsEnabler=No, will I be forced to change it to 'yes' in order to use my older GPU? I've got a 9500 GT.

It's probably best to use the latest version of Chimera. And erase completely the previous installation of Mint from your drive before attempting a new installation.

Did you resolve this problem? I have Linux Mint, Windows 8 and OS X running successfully on my setup. If you have already installed Mint, then I don't really know how to help you. But if you are willing to re-install MINT, then here is what you can do to make it appear in the Chimera Menu....... I've gotten Linux Mint to boot through...
