Only option in boot picker is "Reset NVRAM"

If your loading the HfsPlus.efi driver in your Opencore config under UEFI/APFS/Drivers make sure its in the drivers folder because Acidanthera does not include it by default. I had the same issue as you and finally figured it out.

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

Greatly appreciated for now I will be installing Sonoma 14.3.1 and stick with that for a while until 14.4 becomes OCLP friendly again. I have everything modified and along with Sonoma 14.3.1 Downloaded. Now the question is since WIFi will be off initially before OCLP root patching isn’t...

Fenvi T919 and Broadcom wifi back in Sonoma with OCLP

They need to be placed in EFI/OC/Kexts and OCLP patcher does not install them correct? I can access the folder in OCLP to grab them from there? Nevermind I took it literal you meant from the Dortania Link not the OCLP patcher itself sorry.

Would you happen to have the link to the latest versions for Sonoma for these files from the OP? IOSkywalk.kext, IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext and AirPortBrcmNIC.kext

Will following these directions prevent OCLP root patching from patching anything else and only patch the WiFi/BT?

How to recovery what shows up as "Free Space" on SSD

This is a 250GB SSD and I accidentally deleted the 2nd container and since this Free space formed I cannot recover it. Diskutil does not even have a label for it any longer as you can see in the terminal screenshot. Diskutil GUI shows an area that cannot be accessed. I tried from google...

    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

Is the GitHub still up to date and will it support the Asus Pro WS X299 Sage II? I know that was handed off to Lollo… now seems to be back here again.

Choosing a Compatible NVMe SSD for your macOS Boot Drive

@trs96 , This is fantastic great pictures and description. I don't understand how Samsung can afford such a mistake and ignore this. WD is going to become the moe popular choice and hurt Samsung's SSD/Nvme side of business. They must not either care or have an issue modifying the firmware...

Choosing a Compatible NVMe SSD for your macOS Boot Drive

Is this an issue with PC versions only or also on real macs like the late 2014 mac mini. I never realized they have an upgrade slot for NVME and this mini supports Monterey. Thanks

    [SUCCESS] ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming + i7-9700k + Asus TUF RX 6800 XT + UHD 630 Headless + Big Sur / Monterey + OpenCore 0.7.8

From the boot logo. I just read that the tests no longer work in Monterey probably explains why my results are all the same. My question is if every few weeks I format the Samsung NVME 970 pro and then clone a copy from the SDD back to the 970 drive every few weeks would that help prevent any...

I posted mine about average 38 second boot time for all three variations. Maybe over a longer period of time it will get worst who knows?

I see Multiple instances of mdworker_shared when temps go up. I think this is an Apple spotlight thing. The one using a lot of CPU threads is multiple instances of Google Chrome Helper. I do have several tabs open maybe this is the cause. I’ll shut Google down to see if it spikes after boot...

Are you using a water cooler for CPU my brand is Captain 240 EX. In your bios have you changed the default set water pump+Control from auto to any other mode. Here are my settings. Edited: Doesn't look like SSDT-Plug from Dortania or from OP or SSDT-SBUS-MCHC make any difference it spikes...
