Back down to Mountain Lion. Working fine now. Beware that Disk Utility via Unibeast USB does not actually erase the drive properly. Had to wipe the SSD with a single pass of Zeros.

Did another clean install (new download, new usb, new tools, format, install, use multi beast)... Still a big no-go for me with the Ethernet. Apple RTL does not work. Linx2Mac does not work either. Looks like Mavericks is a big NO GO for me. Going back to Mountain Lion.

I still have no Ethernet. Formatted the SSD and did a clean install of Mavericks. - Installed Linx2Mac driver. Did not work. - Installed Apple Realtek, still didn't work. Removed kexts, rebuild kernel cache, fix perms. Tried it all. Still NO ethernet. OnBoard LAN is Enabled in the BIOS. I don't see any other option I could set. Also...

How did you fix the App Store? And the ethernet which you mentioned later on? I installed Linx2Mac via MultiBeast but I still don't have ethernet.

USB 3.0 works just fine for me. I am now running Mavericks and with 10.9, my Built In Ethernet has broken.. As in, it no longer shows up in Network -> + Add Device -> there is no ethernet listed there anymore. I'm using a Vantec USB 3.0 -> Gigabit Ethernet adapter instead. Works fine on USB 2 and USB 3 ports. Link speed up to 5GB/s. I tried...

Installed Mavericks and everything works just fine. Removed HDAaudioenabler1.kext and HDMI audio is working. Only downside is OS X Server 2.2 no longer works so you have to pay $19.99 to upgrade to Server 3.0. Which doesn't have that many new features but is required since 2.2 no longer works on Mavericks. Still, great savings as Mavericks is...

Did you use the same settings for MultiBeast in Mavericks as you did in Mountain Lion (those in this thread) or did you select other options for the drivers?
