Did you ever receive an answer for this. I am using a GTX670 for FCPX and would like a performance boost. What I have read is that you don't see a boost using dual graphics card...even though the new mac pros use dual and I know that FCPX has the potential to.

I have fully functional audio through all sources using the MB 6.3. I personally use optical to a receiver. Is there any reason why this guide pertains to me. Am I not getting true 5.1? It seems like I am getting 5.1. Just not sure who exactly this is for.

UPDATE: I was able to get internet connection by installing the RealtekRTL81xx.kext. The issue now is that I am unable to login to the computer from other computers or from Plex. Screen sharing "works" but once I get into the screen I can not control anything. When trying to login to view files (sharing is setup correctly) the correct user name...

Love the build I have the same specs but in a huge case (that being said the six HDD and GTX670 I doubt would fit...My question is: could you please post the tools that you used to mod the case. I am mainly interested in what electric saw you used. Thanks

Did you get your 2011 multiple GPU hack up and running and did you get it running the GPU together (rather than stand-alone)

I am running FCPX with i7 3930k, GTX 670, 3x2TB RAID0 (7200) array and 2x 240GB SSD RAID0. I am still getting hang up's and issues within FCPX. I thought I have removed all of the bottlenecks but apparently not. I would kill for a multiple GPU setup. Everything that I have read says that 10.1 and beyond supports multiple GPU's as does...
