amazing description. You mention that you installed dual GPU's. Are they working in Tandem or individually? I have an X79 sandy bridge setup and would kill to install another GPU for editing. Even though the mac pro's run dual GPU I have never read of a build that uses dual GPU's for more than additional monitors. That being the case is it...

Love the build I have the same specs but in a huge case (that being said the six HDD and GTX670 I doubt would fit...My question is: could you please post the tools that you used to mod the case. I am mainly interested in what electric saw you used. Thanks

Did you get your 2011 multiple GPU hack up and running and did you get it running the GPU together (rather than stand-alone)

I thought that when Mavericks was released the hackintosh community would be going nuts with multi GPU builds. Not only is this not the case but this is the first time on the site where dual graphics card setup was even mentioned (albeit it's in...

I use a X79 UD3. Are you saying that I should update my system definition via MB. The computer works very well now, but simply updating the system definition could make things better...not sure it is worth it?

Hmm. I have never tried to use USB3.0 RAID drives. I do have a Drobo 5D running via USB3.0 and that works fine, but that is running it's own version of RAID so can't really comment on internally set up RAID arrays.
