@shilohh, my only preference: a guide with current documentation that is consistent with the current versions of the utilities used. seems like yours satisfies the requirement(s).

adamsmasher, cool proof of concept. i'm going to be the nay sayer. i set out to build my first hack in august and there are few things that i have done that have been as frustrating. the #1 reason: every guide (every one) that i read was outdated. screen shots of multibeast and unibeast don't match the current versions. names of things...

shilohh, thank you for all the help you have given me and others. it is over the top what you do. gonna try one more time with kextbeast and your attachment (even though that is the one that is installed). BTW, i take it literally when you say that i should see "Stereo" output options. All i see are "Line Out" outputs. Zup with that? ...

shilohh, in addition to my baseline, that appears to work, i have tried all three of the *.aml that you suggested and still no luv. per the attached .tiff, the sound options i have are internal speakers, line out (x2), and digital out. none work. i trust that all i have to do is change the *.aml in /Extra and restart (i.e. no need to...

New multibeast mountain lion install. updated to Chimera 2.2 and receive a cpu panic in all attempts. how do i re-install 2.1.2? Thanks in advance, aznewt
