Hello everyone.
I have now a fully setup dell precision M4800 with Mavericks 10.9.5 and the web driver installed. Nvidia Quadro K2100m and the 4k/Qhd+ models don't have graphics switching, rather only the nvidia card is shown, so i took advantage and installed the web driver (with the default driver, it had qe/ci but the resolution for my display was incorrect - 1920x1080 instead of 2560x1080) with the web driver it has been able to show this "odd resolution" and full qe/ci. in verbose it reads NVDASTARTUP: web
so i know its doing the web driver. The internal display stays black and its connected using embedded display port (A.K.A eDP) but its not recognized. The vga, hdmi, and display port outputs all work just fine; even VGA works and full acceleration. Since eDP is essentially display port, I don't see why this won't work. Anyone that could help me take this laptop on the go with a bit of apple on it?
UPDATE: I tried using the iokit patch, but nothing changed. I am yet to test editing config.plist to change nvidia ports to 4 (displayport+vga+embedded displayport+hdmi)
Also enabled inject EDID.

same on K1100M , please upload your ioreg and aida64 report hardware htm.

Then there's three of us on the same boat, but I have given up the hopes of ever running Mojave or something other than Linux \ OS X on this beast of a lapt...erm...workstation.

Make that four of us.

It runs High Sierra fine with Nvidia acceleration, it just can't activate the internal display. Disabling the Nvidia drivers lets the Intel graphics work the built in panel but pretty darn slowly.
