Motherboard
Dell Latitude D830
Graphics
NVS 140M
I've tried everything from a google search to fix it (or all that I could understand) but nothing has worked. Can you please help me fix it? Attachment included.

I'm using a usb thumb drive to install mavericks using the create media method. A site suggested using USBBusFix=Yes and others have said to use a different port which isn't possible with the Asus T300LA as it only has one port. I've tried a couple different USB sticks and I've had it working at one time.

I appreciate any help given.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Sorry for putting this in the wrong place, but I want to point out that I am asking about mavericks and this was moved to yosemite. I have no desire to use 10.10 on this tablet just yet.

This computer doesn't have an operating system at this time and I failed to locate the motherboard chipset information online.

I am very new to hackintoshing computers and only had one successful build (a d830) which is dead right now. That build, though, had a ton of support and a very detailed step-by-step guide and a program built for quick installation (less than five clicks of the mouse). This isn't the case with this computer. I got the clover/createinstallmedia mavericks installer to work once but the program wouldn't install (I found out later that it was because the bios date was off). I have yet to get it working again.

Again, sorry for the incomplete information and improper location of the thread. I'll keep my questions about this build here in this thread. It is my hope that we can get it working perfectly. I would appreciate help getting it going.

It is not needed as it can inferred from the CPU (8-series).

Read compatibility overview: http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptop-compatibility/106791-laptop-compatibility.html

Use Clover: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html

Also, you will find many of the stickies here useful: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-laptop-support/

Okay. It's uploaded as a .zip file.

I appreciate your assistance.

Way too many kexts in Clover/kexts/Other. And your config.plist is corrupt. The error near line 286 is obvious.

Follow guide linked in post #6.
