Motherboard
"Power" Hack Pro (Custom System)
CPU
i7-4770k 3.5GHz Socket 1150
Graphics
GTX 780, GTX 970
Mac
  1. iMac
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
  2. iOS
Ok well i guess i will start this off with my simple question, "Can the k55a support Mavericks"
Secound i will read off the specs,
CPU: 3rd gen i5 clocked at 2.5ghz
Graphics:Intel HD Graphics 4000
OS: Windows 8.1
Hard Drive: 500gb WD
Wifi Chip: Quadcomm atheros AR9485
Camera: 0.9 Megapixels
Disk Drive?: ST500lm012 HN-M500MBB
Mouse And Keyboard: Both Built-In
And Finally, Sound Controllers: Intel,Realtek HD Audio,Screaming Bee Audio.
So as you can see by my computer specs, I use a iMac so i have experience with macs, I also have computer experience as i have built several custom computers. Also i do not know what the motherboard model sadly i could not find it.
Also i would like to have it on a Partion on my hard drive with the space of 258 GB (as that is what my data drive has room for) If you could please respond asap as i would like to get started working on this.

Yes. But AR9485 is not supported you'll need to replace it.

If you haven't read this, read now: http://www.tonymacx86.com/laptop-compatibility/106791-laptop-compatibility.html

is there any way to get a driver for it or some way to get around the error,

No. It is not supported.

also I've heard the camera won't work

First step would be to see if the cam is recognized on the USB bus. If it is not recognized, then you probably have a USB problem which should be resolved first.

so i do have one more question, if i don't need to use the wifi(as i will be dual booting with 8.1)can i still use the ethernet in the meantime until i can upgrade

It depends on what chipset your ethernet uses.
