Hey all, a friend gave me a older computer, here are the specs:

MSI P35 Neo2 FR Motherboard
Core2Quad Q9550 CPU
BFG GeForce GTS 250 graphics card
6 Gigs of ram

I've been able to install Lion on this system, but anything above 10.7 Unibeast just keep rebooting after loading the kexts. It goes so fast I can't even see what the last thing was on the screen. I've tried every setting in the bios I can think of and find. I've searched on here and I've tried all the boot options I could find... I'm stumped on this one.

Anyone have any ideas:?:

Yes I do not see anyone claiming success past Lion on your motherboard.

If you have the interest you could make up a Clover/Yosemite installer (choose Legacy mode) and try that. I have an Gigabyte EP45 motherboard that I am able to boot Mavericks and Yosemite via Clover.

However, if you set out on this adventure, please clone your current system (and make the clone bootable) and set that drive aside. If necessary, you could then get back to your current working system.

Good modding,
neil

Its was a setting in the bios. As soon as I changed it it booted perfect and I was able to install without issues. The only thing I needed from multibeast was a network and sound kext. Everything else worked perfect.

What setting did you change, I have virtually the same rig just with 8gb of ram and I for the life of me can't figure out what is wrong. My ktexts load and then the computer reboots.

Ill check tomorrow and let you know

I figured it out! I had "USB Legacy Support" set to Enabled and saw that it had an Auto option, so I changed it to that on a whim and Unibeast booted perfectly. I got 10.10.3 installed an fully updated without any problems. I just had to add a kext with Kextbeast for the Mavell IDE/5th Sata port and Enable "Extra IDE Controller" in the BIOS to get my 4th HDD working.
