GTX 770 - Can't Get to Mavericks Install Screen
I have my system working fine with a GeForce 660 Ti in there. I am trying to do a new install with an NVidia GTX 770 that I just purchased. No matter what I do, the system goes along and then gets to the installer but I can't see the install screen. I can hear that it is in the installer, as the voice gives me the "to proceed with english, hit return" - but the screen either stays on the apple logo or the verbose information if I use the -v flag. If I hit enter I see the hard drive light up with reads so I can tell that isn't hanging - it just won't show me the install screen.
I thought that 770 was supported natively by Mavericks, and I can't seem to figure this out. I tried with a Yosemite installer and got the same result. I tried HDMI port, and both DVI ports and also go the same result (boots up, then stops, but a few moments later I hear the "to proceed with English, hit return")
I have tried starting with GraphicsEnabler=No, -f, -v, PCIRootUID=1
Any ideas? Otherwise I think I'll return the card tomorrow.
Edit: I put the 770 into the 8x slot and started the machine up with the 660 Ti in the 16x slot - OS X sees both cards bu reports the GTX 770 as "NVidia Chip Model" - guess this card is just unsupported?
