Hi - new to Unibeast/hackintosh

Followed a recommended build and am trying to install OS, but whenever I get to the apple loading screen, I get a kernel panic.

Other people seem to have been getting a similar error with 10.9.2... most seem to be able to resolve the issue with boot flag -x graphicsenabler=no, maxmem=4096.

This hasn't been working for me unfortunately (neither have any of the other boot flags). I believe maxmem flag was intended to fix some issue with multiple ram sticks? I'm using one 8gig stick.. not sure if relevant or not. I've also tried maxmem=8192 which hasn't worked.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Two things to try:
1. maxmem=2048
2. remove AppleACPIPlatform.kext from /Extra/Extensions on the USB
3. maxmem (2048/4096) flags in conjunction with #2

Thanks for the response. Got the same error with option one. I'm trying to delete the file you point out in option two, but I am unable to find it?

I may be missing a step but I only have Install OSX Mavericks.app on the flash drive... showing package contents I'm not seeing the file.

Can you advise - thanks!

Extra folder is hidden on USB. Use ShowAllFiles.

Thanks!

So, I'm no longer getting the kernel panic... but once I get past the initial apple load screen, the process seems to get stuck.

Screen goes black (and then toggles on/off as if there's no connection). Not sure what to do?

IGPU memory set to 64Mb in BIOS?
Using a digital connection to monitor? (VGA is not supported)

I can't find that setting. Im not using a graphics card, i am using onboard graphics. Also I connected through a HDMI.

Found It! It was at 64 :( Still the same problem tho...
