I get the dreaded error that this machine is not authorized. My Hackentosh is set to iMac 12,7 and has the serial # to match my actual iMac 12,7.

ive deleted the NetworkInterfaces.plist file
ive done that and delete the network interfaces.
edited org.chameleon.Boot.plist and smbios.plist in various ways shown in these forums and still nothing.

I believe my issue is that i do not have a working ethernet interface since i have the Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2200 nic in the board. i am currently using an actual aircard from an iMac with a PCI-E adapter as my wireless adapter.

i installed the kext using the wizard and from what i understand when im adding the network devices again there is supposed to be a "fake" ethernet adapter there. but there isnt.

You must follow all instructions.

got it, my bad i downloaded 0123 instead of 0121 thinking it was a newer version of the driver instead of it being tailored to a different install method

0123 is newer and is the correct version to use. It supports both DSDT and injector kext methods.

thats odd then, was able to get 0121 up and running in a few min

Must have been kernel cache issue. Installing the kext a second time could have kicked off a rebuild that was successful.

Or you forgot to reboot the first time...
