Hey Guys,

I've been looking all over here for a solution to get the Unibeast Mavericks installation to work.

My system runs on the ASRock Z87e-itx motherboard with a i5-4670K processor with no extra video card then the HD4600. I am currently running on Snow Leopard 1.6.8

I've tried:
PCIRootID=0 to 9
GraphicsEnabler=Yes and No
npci=0x2000 and 0x3000

And every time it goes to blackscreen and reboots.

Please help me.

I have this board and it works perfectly as a hackintosh board. What bios version are you on ?

My bios is updated to 2.30 if i am correct. The latest version of the asrock's website

Ok, so forget PCIRoot, forget npci. Set GraphicsEnabler to no, IGPEnabler to yes, and you should be good to go.

Correction : Search the forums for 'z87e-itx 2.30a' and download the beta bios i posted. It has power management fixed so it no longer goes into a boot loop.

Also search for the thread labelled 'z87e-itx updates' and have a read of that. You will see there all the work ive been doing with the Asrock engineers to get the bios more hackintosh friendly. There has been a lot of work put into making this board very OSX friendly.

Tnx got 2.30a.

But now i see a Grey screen with nothing else on it.

Well you need to provide slightly more infromation if you want people to help you, dont ya think ? ;)

Screenshot, verbose mode (-v) etc, the usual stuff.

Yeah you are right.

The thing is i just finished the installation and it seems to be stuck again at some point. when i get to the unibeast loader i can tell that Snow Leopard has been updated to Mavericks, but when i try to boot it gets stuck after the "initialization".

When i check the verbose log i can tell that power management is an issue, and that is when the screen goes black(sleep mode).

Edit:
Below find the verbose screenshots
