Btw I'm using unibeast + multibeast.

Best,

Thanks!!

I did search, but I found alot of different threads, therefore I was asking. Sorry for this.

And regarding the upgrade:

Do I need to buy the mavericks from app store first then put it on a USB flashdrive and make a new partition on it?

I didn't get the part "To upgrade and not new install make note of step 4 operation 6", please explain a little bit more in detail ad I would be so thankful.

Thank you for your reply btw! Appreciate it alot!

I followed the guide for an upgrade and it didn't work. I was still on 10.8.5 ML.

Guys the update works. read thoroughly. Its not Windows. Create your UniBeast installation drive and install without Partitioning/Reformatting your installation drive, and then boot as usual into to Mavericks installation. You will need to apply ONLY the audio and ethernet selections in MultiBeast 6.0

You downloaded mavericks? Created a new USB using unibeast 3.0? Booted of this USB? Which should have started the install of mavericks? Rebooted again (still using the USB) but his time selecting your new mavericks install? and then using multibeast? And that left you on 10.8.5? Strange!! Being left on on 10.8.5 usually only happens when people just try to use the mavericks installer directly on their machine.

I got to the "boot from usb" part... I can't seem to get to boot into ANY USB at all, eventhough I select "usb" (using ASUS motherboard so F8 on startup). It just shows me a blank screen with the white apple logo and nothing is happening. What should I do?

Thanks

From the link (again):

If you have trouble reaching the installer, type -x at the Boot screen as shown below. You can type the boot flagsGraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=1, PCIRootUID=0, and npci=0x3000 by themselves or together in order to solve boot issues for older graphics cards and machines. Type -v to bypass the Apple boot screen and enter verbose startup mode. For further explanations of boot flags, check out the post here.

Did you try any of that?
