My signature rig won't boot after installing Mavericks and MultiBeast. I can boot into the installer using -x GraphicsEnabler=Yes, and into OSX again using the same command to install MultiBeast. But after installing MultiBeast I get a bootloader error on the Apple logo. So far I have tried re-installing OSX with the options "EasyBeast" and "DSDT Free" in MultiBeast but to no avail (both give the bootloader errors). Is there any way to install MultiBeast so that it boots and with full graphics support for OSX Mavericks?

Thanks,

Bump... Still looking for a fix for this.

Thanks,

which GTX480 is it? there is a command you can run that i can't remember i think it has something to do with "pci".

EDIT: "ncpi=0x3000" "PCIRootUID=0" PCIRootUID=1" you can try some of those.

Hmmm, well this is concerning. One of the reasons that I bought this card is because of it's compatibility with OSX. I am not so sure the brand name matters, does it?

Anybody else having success with OSX Mavericks and full support for their GTX480? Thanks,

yes brand matters it has to do with the device id and stuff like that, possibly the rom too. i'm already having problems bootign the installer, the screen ****s off while trying to boot the installer.

i'm about to look at this thread.

You have to type "-x GraphicsEnabler=Yes" at the bootload screen to get into the installer. Same goes for booting into Mavericks when the install is complete. You will have OSX Mavericks without GPU support after the install. I am currently trying to find a way to have full GPU support now.

with mt lion, while selecting "option" when you select al lthe drivers/kexts to installed with the os i chose the one for nvidia cards. did you not do that?

EDIT: this may be a problem with tony mac. other distros will install kext upon installing the OS, we need those drivers for out card and since tony mac doesn't offer that, we either need the correct command at boot or it's not possible.

edit: i'm not even sure i'm gonna go through with it now. you might be royally bent atl east possibly till there is some kind of fix. did any of the commands i posted work?

edit; what options does easy beast give you? does it not have any nvidia options

edit; until i know there is a solution i'm holding off for now.
