Here is my build, and steps that I took to successfully run Mavericks on my PC:

CPU Intel Core i7-4770
Mobo Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3
GPU Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760
RAM Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4GB
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB
Wi-Fi TP-Link TL-WDN4800
PSU Corsair CX600
Case Nexus Thrio 310

1. Made bootable USB with UniBeast on OS X powered computer.
2. Installed OS X using given instructions in tonymacx86's guide.
3. Used DSDT free installation of MultiBeast to install audio and networking (exact driver names for my motherboard took from CustoMac October's guide).

P.S. Had some booting problems because of choosing Mac Pro definition 5.1 in MultiBeast. But reinstalled with 3.1 definitinion and now everything works except iMessage, but I don’t even use it so I am not looking for any fix.
Sleep, shut down, graphics - everything working.
 
Hello! I have a similar Mobo , the Ga Z87X-Ud3H, also with an i7 4770 NON k processor. I could'nt install Mavericks on it, did you have any issues with the CPU for not being "k"?

Frank the GA-Z87X-UD3H motherboard is used in the CutoMac Pro build:

For i7-4770(NON K) then follow this instruction
  • In UEFI/bios disable VT-d option
  • Use the boot flag Dart=0 from boot loader screen.

hi adrian. I have gigabyte z87-hd3 but not sucefully installed 10.9. please gıve me kext. now my smbios macpro3,1. But not running restart my system.

  • What is all your hardware?
  • What is not working?

I followed your guide. Installed 10,9. But restart and shutdown is not workıng. my bootloader chımera latest versions.

mobo: gbyte z87-hd3
cpu: i5 4440
gpu: amd hd6850
ram: kıngston 2x4 gb 1600mhz

What your sımbıos- org.chamelon boot.plıst ant bootloader.
please give me your fıles. your system ıs perfect working:)

Try booting using -v from the chimera screen. It will boot slowly with lots of lines of text. It may take 3-5 minutes to stop. Take a good clear photograph and post picture using the 'Manage Attachments' section below.

Hi!, I've successfully installed Mavericks on my GA-Z87-HD3 with HDMI 1080p with this guide:

Now I've two problems::yawn:

1. I can't boot Mavericks without USB drive after used MultiBeast, I've GPT boot0 error
2. with HDMI cable I can't ear any sound but graphic io OK!

My Hardware:

MB: GA-Z87-HD3
24 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance
HD WD 1TG SATAII
OnBoard VGA Intel HD4600 connected with HDMI plug

So, how I can do to solve my problems??? Any Ideas?:ugeek::banghead:
