Android File Transfer causes entire system freeze (lock-up)

I never had this problem in the past, but recently every single time I've tried to use the Android File Transfer app, my entire system locks up, requiring me to hit the hard reset button. I used to use AFT all the time, but haven't tried to use it until recently. I scoured the internets and couldn't find an answer...

Luckily, there are plenty of other ways to transfer files between an Android phone and a Hackintosh, but AFT should work too. Anyone else seen this problem?

I can't get my Android phones or tablet to mount. I get "Could not connect to device" I guess you were able to get it to mount.

Fixed my mounting problem. Samsung installed a bad kext.
