iMessage not working (Apple ID can't be used at this time)

Hi all,

I'm running a fresh hackintosh (i5-4440, Gigabyte H81M-HD3, 8GB RAM, iGPU) and everything is working fine except for iMessage. It simply doesn't want to accept my apple ID. My hackintosh is my first Apple 'product' since an ipod touch 6 years ago, which never saw the day of icloud, imessage etc. I was able to register for iCloud just fine and itunes and the app store work fine as well. But whenever trying to log in to iMessage i get the error that my apple ID can't be used at this time. Google and other accounts are able to log in to the message client. I tried the following things:

- Install FileNVRam (this solved another error in imessage but retains the current one)
- Call Apple with the provided customer code, this resulted in testing with a test account and with safe mode (although my internet doesn't work in safe mode)
- Fresh install
- Log in to iMessage on an official Mac and iPad (in a electronics store), it logged in just fine and I was able to send & receive messages.

What can I do to solve the problem? Its just so annoying that everything except this works....

I solved that problem giving the credit card details. Even if my account seemed to be verified (with Credit Card: NONE) iMessage on my Hackintosh wasn't working.

what kind of info do they ask when you call?
