Hello

with my "original" Mac I'm using Timemachine for all backup topics.

Timemachine works also with my Hackintosh for Filebackups and Restores.

But how can I backup and restore the whole installation in case of any problems?

It is possible to clone your drives using Disk Utility and the restore feature. This will not copy over the boot loader though so you would need to apply that to any freshly cloned drive. There are also other Apps available that many use like CCC and Super Duper.
