OSX Laptop HDD issue

I have a genuine macbook pro, my laptop does not book.
I took the drive out and tried to mount it on another computer and it will not mount.
Is there any way i can view the files to recover on another computer either mac,PC or linux?

please let me know if anyone can help

Can we assume that other computer is a Mac or a Hackintosch?

Does Disk Utility app see the problem hard drive? If yes, you can try to run the first aid "repair".

Then if you have DiskWarrior you could try that. This program sells for $120 USD and may not help your cause so I do not suggest that you go purchase it.

And you could always go talk to apple is you have Apple Care....

Otherwise go find your last backup of the subject drive.
