hit the hot key for selecting a boot device and select your UniBeast USB to boot from. Do not let it boot from the HDD boot loader.I'm trying to install Lion and when I start from my unibeast drive and select USB it restarts. My HD's version of chameleon is acting as the bootloader and like I said won't go farther then a grey screen after selecting USB thus restarts.
Please help!

What board? Video? Other pci devices? What's in your chameleon config?
My config is:
ASUS Z77-A
Using Intel HD 2500 graphics off the 3340 processor
I have one other PCI device that expands with three USB ports and three FireWire ports:

HD2500 is not supported in OS X. Z77 Asus boards need a BIOS patch, patched kernel or patched power management kext to run. Suggest you use Clover as boot loader and run Clover configurator to add the patch to your Clover boot loader.
Or, you can patch your BIOS - there is a whole thread here somewhere - search is your friend.
Can clover be used on other versions besides Yosemite? I'm trying for lion but I'd appreciate doing it with mountain lion.
I am using the Lion USB drive from the apple store with no option on how to do Mountain Lion without getting it from a t*****t I suppose. I found a post with ASUS patches but the link doesn't work.
There is always the option to buy the last discrete media Apple sold - The Lion USB installer - if you can find it. Did a google and found this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-OS-X-...perating_Systems_Software&hash=item3ced30fbf6I don't want to do it that way. I'm just asking is there another way?
