Hello Everyone, first time trying to build a Hackintosh. I've been a long time Mac user (OS X anyway).

I have the following hardware.
i7 - 4770K
Z87X-UD4H
No Video card
16GB of RAM
TL-WDN4800
GBU 521 Bluetooth
120 GB SSD

I started by installing a copy of windows so that I could verify that I had the hardware configured and installed successfully. Everything went smooth there. I only mention it for full disclosure.

I built the Unibeast + Lion USB from an older Mac Mini that won't run Maverick or I would have tried to start with Maverick.

I setup my BIOS from a post I found at another site.
1. BIOS Settings
- Disabled all HDDs except the drive for Mac installation
- Ensured that SATA controllers were set to AHCI and not IDE
- Disabled Onboard Video (Monitors are connected to the GTX 660)
- Intel Virtualization Disabled
- XHCI Auto
- XHCI & EHCI handoffs set to enabled
- No other changes

When I boot to the USB drive, I see a flash of the gray Apple Screen and then my system reboots.

I have tried the following commands at boot.
-v (after the text, the computer reboots)
GraphicsEnabler=No (same thing, computer reboots after the gray Apple Screen)
GraphicsEnabler=No (after the text, the computer reboots)

I found this link. I tried changing the BIOS setting for the onboard Graphics to IGFX as suggested. I used the GraphicsEnabler=Yes (computer reboots after the gray Apple Screen)

Any help would be great.
Thanks

I was able to get a copy of Maverick so I stopped trying to load Lion and went to Maverick. I never did figure out what happened with Lion, but it is a mute point now. Thanks.
