Acer 5750-6489

Would this be a good candidate for hackentosh? I want to make one for my mum and I have a seller who doesn't want too much for it.

It's basically the i5 model without the NVIDIA GPU from what I understand.

If you had read the compatibility post, you'd realize you need much more detail than that.

Output from 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal will get you started.

I did read it; you're asking me things I can't check xD

The issue is I don't have the laptop and therefore i can't find out like that; it's for sale and I can get it for a good price.

My point of this post was more to see if anyone had experience with this laptop and not the 5750G or any of it's variants so that I can make an informed purchase or not. Sadly most review sites aren't offering the info I'd need and I can't find the manual online so I can't look up the numbers myself.
