question off topic : does hdmi audio need more fixes to dsdt than what you do to enable onboard audio

Yes. "hda-gfx"="onboard-1" needs to be injected on HDEF/IGPU/HDAU (HDAU only for Haswell).

Ok now i got HDMI audio but now i need to fix the following :

1- Battery Percentage ( I followed your dsdt patching guide but i didn't understand a word )
2-Brightness Control
3-Camera
4-Wifi ( Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN Card )

it would be really appreciated if you can patch dsdt for me cause i barely know how to do it

thx !

1. Your DSDT is either already patched for battery or does not require patches. Install ACPIBatteryManager.kext and see what happens.

2. No idea for the hardware in your profile.

3. Does it appear in System Information under USB section?

4. Not supported.

USB 2.0 Camera is in USB Section but it isn't working the camera simply lights up but doesnt show anything

Ok I don't care about camera anymore but I need to enable Power Management i followed your guide but extracted SSDT from MacIASL instead i typed 25 in TDP section and 2530 in both CPU Frequency and Max Turbo Frequency all this with Generate P-States and Generate C-States then I renamed it to dsdt.aml and moved it to HDD Name/Extra then i switched Generate P-States and Generate C-States and then i typed DropSSDT=Yes to boot flags then i opened DCPIManager and opened P States it said Current States = 34 and P States = 34 is Power Management working now ? sorry for too much details i was just worried i did something wrong
Edit : i chose MacBookPro5,4 SMBios is it good ?

For old computers such as the one in your profile, you don't need a custom SSDT.

It is covered in my guide.
