hello guys !
i'm actually new to the hackintosh thing but i have been thinking about it for a while and i have watched a lot of videos about how to do it and i actually read a lot of threads on this forum so i wanted to know if i can install hackintosh with the latest yosemeti on it on my hardware and if there is a kext for my graphic card and if there is a way around the 8gb usb since i only have a 4gb usb and i have a lot of hard drives but i only have a small space left on each so i was wondering if a VHD will do it and then i run Unibeast and install yosemeti on it and then boot from it somehow sorry i'm new to this as i told you just wondering if it will work that way and if my laptop supports it in the first place and i wanted to know if i need to turn off secure boot from my bios before starting and if i need to take off any ram sticks since i have a dual channel ram (16gb)
-thanks in advance :)

thanks for replying btw i've already read that thread before and it's really helpful but the main point of my question was using a partition instead of a usb to boot from and the other thing was if there are any kext file for my graphics card which is the Nvidia geforece 870m and i have read a lot of your replies to other people and you talked about the problem with the intel hd 4600 with the msi laptop because of the resolution so is that a problem for me as well ? my resolution is 1920 by 1080 and i want to know if you can recommend me about any boot options to use and sorry maybe my english isn't the best that's why it wasn't that clear in the main thread,
Thanks again :)

You cannot boot from a VHD (a VHD is something specific to Windows).

And if you had read the "Compatibility" thread, you would realize that discrete graphics (nvidia, in your case) don't work with a dual-GPU switched configuration (in your case, nvidia optimus).

You may be able to use a USB HDD if you have one. But it is best to use an 8GB USB stick.

Use one of the guides:

Thanks a lot appreciate it :)
one last question just to be clear i meant that i partition my external hard drive into two partitions one for Unibeast and the other for the actual mac once i boot up from the first one just wanted to know if its possible because i only have a 4gb flash drive and i have a lot of hard drives so i thought of partitioning one of them that i don't already have a bootable OS on.
i'm really sorry for asking too much questions but i'm a noobie when it comes to hackintosh and by the way i actually read the thread but i wasn't sure if my nvidia card was actually discrete graphics because when i bought it they told me that its a dedicated graphic card :/ so now i think i won't be able to use unity on mac with my intel hd 4600 :( anyways.

Thanks again for your help i really appreciate it and i will start by emptying one of my external hard drive and making one partition with only 8gb and then i will format it on make into a guid partition and make it mac (journalist) i think that's what its called and the other partition and i will leave it empty and install mac on it once i boot from the first one

I don't know if Unibeast will write to a USB HDD partition. You'll have to try it. I know that with the Clover method you can.

If you have both nvidia and intel graphics, you have "switched" not "dedicated" nvidia...

i just finished fixing my other hard drive partition which had unallocated 150gb but it was dynamic so i had to switch it to basic fist and then i moved the files from my external hard drive to it and now i will split my external hard drive into 2 partitions one that's 8 gb and the other is 992gb so i can install mac on the other and maybe use clover or unibeast on on the 8gb to boot from it and once i finish i will delete the 8gb partition and extent the 992gb one to 1tb do you think that will work ? and another thing how do i disable discrete graphics and like what is the option called in the bios because i can't seem to find it. and which graphics card to disable ? the intel HD 4600 that comes that comes with the cpu or the nivdia geforce gtx 870m 6gb and if i can use the nivdia geroce gtx 870m which kext to use ? and will wifi work(Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260) and will sound work like is there any kext for it (Realtek ALC892)?
i have found this thread for my codec but the links doesn't work
http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-optimized-audio-drivers-for-onboard.html

and by the way my bios is American Megatrends Inc. 4.6.5
and my motherboard is Notebook P17SM-A
-thanks in advance
and sorry for asking a lot of question but i'm considered a noob when it comes to hackintosh

You'll have to try and see.

and another thing how do i disable discrete graphics and like what is the option called in the bios because i can't seem to find it. and which graphics card to disable ? the intel HD 4600 that comes that comes with the cpu or the nivdia geforce gtx 870m 6gb and if i can use the nivdia geroce gtx 870m which kext to use ?

No need to disable anything. Read the stickies here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-laptop-support/

and will wifi work(Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260)

Not supported.

and will sound work like is there any kext for it (Realtek ALC892)?

so there is no fix for wifi ?
if not which usb wifi adapter should i buy ?

You can replace the wifi hardware or use USB wifi. See sticky post in the network forum.
