iMac A1225 24" glass

Is it possible to remove the glass from this late 2007/early 2008 iMac and clean between the glass and the LED screen? If it is, how would you go about doing it? I can see no screws or other means of holding the glass in place and I hope that Apple did not just glue it in place. Hate to think what the Apple Store support group would charge to send it in and have it cleaned.

Model number from the bottom of the stand is:

Model A1225
iMac 24"/2.4GHz/1GB/320GB/SD/AP/BT
BCRM 1022/ BCRM 1024

Parsing that is:
CPU speed/amount of RAM/HDD size/card reader/AirPort/BlueTooth
BCRM 1022 is Broadcom NIC and BCRM 1024 is Broadcom BT

Magnets hold the screen in place. you can buy small suctions cups to remove the glass very easily. Cleaning in inside of the screen is hard work - I have used distilled vinegar and micro fibre cloth. Remove the screen and you can clean out the fans and all the vents - don't forget the RAM slots on the bottom of the screen can be cleaned out too.

Thanks for the links. It doesn't look all that hard to remove the glass and put it back.
Wonder if the Apple Store has the suction cups? Think I will give them a visit while I am in the area Tuesday.

Watch the little magnets...they like to come out and get in strange places...where they can cause real problems...
Supposedly cheap source for suction cups is dollar store.. bought mine from Other Worl Computing.. they have high quality videos..

Should be a piece of cake for you considering your expertise and experience..
