I won a imac g4, m6498 model that still works but how old I want to turn it into windows pc.


I already have the board ITX (q1900b-ix asrock) and much else.
I saw videos and other images and I could not understand how to translate the monitor signal to hdmi and therefore ask for your help and more:


I can use the source of the imac to feed the "new machine"? how?

cavnet I see several problems here. First you should read the rules and you will learn that we don’t do PCs. Also the motherboard that you have is not appropriate for a hackintosh.

As for help with your conversion of the G4 display to run on your motherboard, there is much detail available in the iMac conversion threads here and on the internet. It is up to you to mine for this information. If you can frame a specific question and supply enough information that a knowledgeable person can respond, then you will probably get a response.

You will see when problems require more then a written description, the poster will provide photos and attachments to communicate the details.

I am sorry that no one has responded for your plea for help. I suspect most readers don’t understand your problem and question(s).
