Made a bigger process on Mountain Lion in my ProBook 4530s, here's the status:

My specifications:

HP ProBook 4530s: i3-2350M, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 4GB RAM.

What's working and what's not:
1. Graphics are 100% working with no bugs/glitches
2. All USB 2.0 ports are working
3. Camera working
4. Keyboard basic buttons are working, but not the functions
5. Trackpad works but detected as Mouse and multi gestures doesn't work
6. Audio not working
7. Battery precentage is not showing in the top bar
8. All packages installations fails, everything.
9. Wifi does not work (I have Realtek wifi card so it's not supported)
10. Bluetooth does not work
11. Microphone does not work
12. USB 3.0 not working

NOTE: Installed using Unibeast 1.5 and used some manual drivers and Installer v5.0b1 and the system is running really smooth.

Now we just need to get the other things working so we can make the new installer that 100% works, please share your thoughts and kexts :p

ProBook 4530s almost 100% Working

Ok, here is the method I have used to get my ProBook 4530s up and running well.

First, thanks to IOSBeast and aslvda Boot 0: fix and USB 3.0 Fix.

1. Make install flash drive with Unibeast 1.5.1 Mountain Lion Version

2. Boot with Install Flash Drive

3. After install boot into Mountain Lion Partition

4. Install Mountain Lion AHCI Patch to fix "waiting for root device error" (File attached below)

5. Run ProBook Installer Version 4. Select OSX version 10.7.4, Chimera, Ethernet Kext, Select your proper DSDT, SSDT, and system definition

6. Use kext wizard to install PXHCD.kext, IOUSBFamily.kext, IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext, IOath3kfrmwr.kext, AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext. (See attached Files) (IOUSBFamily.kext you can find at this link. DP3.kexts.zip (Need to register with osx86.net to download files)

7. Resart and you should be good to go

8. If you can't boot without Unibeast drive and get the Boot 0: Error follow this link for the fix( How to fix the boot0 error for your Hackintosh )

Just wanted to be clear on what is not working as well. I believe these are things that nobody has working.

1. Radeon Card is detected by System Report but I don't believe there is support for this and no way to switch to it.
Type: GPU
Bus: PCIe
PCIe Lane Width: x16
Vendor: ATI (0x1002)
Device ID: 0x6760
Revision ID: 0x0000

2. I have no way to test the Express Card/34 slot so not sure if anyone is getting this working.

So far everything else seems to be working pretty well including SD Card Reader. I just redid this install just to be sure. Please feel free to let me know if you have questions or notice anything not working. Again, thanks to everyone who contributes to this site and forum.

Trackpad

So did you manage to get the trackpad working? I have my 4530s i7 2760QM up and running since day one. The only thing not working is the trackpad and SD card reader. If I boot into safe mode or with the -f boot flag, trackpad work fine with the two fingers gesture , but get a lot of graphic glitches.

Funny how the GM and retail suppose to be the same build, I got it all working on GM and expected to work like lion.
I tried to upload and attached my kexts that I use for the past 2 days but the forum upload keep failing so I gave up.

My trackpad works good with the method I used above.

I can boot into the mountain lion drive but my key board and track paddon't work at all. Hire can I fix this?

Unibeast 1.5 had a bug and did not install the laptop support properly. You have to use a usb mouse and keyboard to complete the install. Or you can download the updated unibeast 1.5.1 and redo your unibeast usb drive.

One last question is your SD card reader on front working too? If it is can you attach the kext that you use? Ok so two questions LOL.

I was able to patch the kext and got the trackpad working before I saw your reply.

Okay, I'm now working on ProBook Installer 5.0b2 CLI, everything works good except the card reader, and one final problem:
When you try to login to the AppStore it says "Your device or computer could not be identified, please contact iTunes support for assistance". once we fix this problem, I'm gonna release the new installer and you'll have a 99.9% working hackintosh on your ProBook

Hello guys, i installed mountain lion successfully on my 4530s. Everything works perfectly including the sd card reader.
Thanks aschewe for your guide!
