So, I spilt water on my probook two weeks ago and it shut off. I pulled everything let it dry, started it back up, and it's fine. Except for ONE odd thing.

When I start my laptop up in the bios the touchpad works fine.
When I let it load into osx the touchpad works fine.
The function insert/print screen button works fine to turn it off and on.

After about 5 minutes, the touchpad shuts off and stops working and nothing I can do can get it back on besides reseting my machine.

Where can I find logs to track down what is happening and why it's stopping?
What steps would you guys take to troubleshoot this?

Did you do EC reset?

Thanks, Just googled that thread and it worked PERFECTLY!

Somehow my entire probook took a dip in the bathub and it still just works flawlessly?!?!

I guess I have good engineering and quick blow thermal fuses to thank for that.
